Anbiams

The Basic Christian Communities are called 'Anbiams' in Tamil language which means 'Families living with Love'. The whole Parish of St Judes Church is divided into 13 Anbiams (BCC) each one with 20 to 25 families and it is the source of strength for its pastoral and social activities. Each one has its President and secretary who manage to conduct its monthly gatherings regularly in which all issues related to social and pastoral are discussed, arrive at decisions and work together for their overall development. They have the clear vision, the mandate and strategic events by which the qualities of their lives are enhanced. The leaders are trained to update their knowledge and skills at regular intervals.
